6、 technical changes had been made to the draft standard prEN 15700. The first draft standard originally included normative requirements saying that innovations which increase safety are to be allowed these requirements have been deleted: Changes made in Subclauses 5.3.2.1 and 5.4.2 make the text less

7、 clear and more imprecise. The result of these changes is that a conveyor belt complying with the normative requirements is not necessarily functional. The list in Subclause 5.5.1.3.6 of possible events that could trigger the braking system needs to be made more complete. In Subclause 5.5.6 addition

8、al requirements need to be specified for devices intended to monitor the area of the emergency flap. Without taking these requirements in the standard into consideration, requirements have been formulated for the known safety risks in the area of the emergency stop that need to be supplemented. It i

9、s a contradiction that in Subclause 7.2 the use of suitable signage is required, while the relevant Annex, Annex B, is only informative. The deletion of Annex ZA on the relationship of the European Standard with the Machinery Directive, Directive 2006/42/EC, leads to ambiguity. The table drawn up in
