National foreword This document (EN 1610:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 165 “Waste water en

5、gineering” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). Working Group WG 10 “Installation of buried pipes for gravity drain and sewer systems” (Secretariat: Germany) of CEN/TC 165 carried out the work. The responsible German body involved in its preparation was DIN-Normenausschuss Wasserwesen (DIN Standards Committ

6、ee Water Practice), Working Committee NA 119-05-34 AA Rohrverlegung und -statik (CEN/TC 165/WG 10 und CEN/TC 165/WG 12). DIN EN 1610 provides detailed guidance on the construction and related testing of drains and sewers as well as manholes in systems outside buildings. The construction covers new c

7、onstruction and renewal. In the area of building and site drainage, reference is made to standards in the DIN 1986 series. In Germany, the Deutsche Vereinigung fr Wasserwirtschaft, Abwasser und Abfall e.V. (DWA) (German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste) is responsible for the supplementar

8、y national regulations in the form of technical codes and worksheets. 10、(Milling and ploughing procedures for the construction of drains and sewers) DIN EN 752 provides a framework for the design, construction, rehabilitation, maintenance and operation of drain and sewer systems outside buildings. In Germany the minimum trench width is according to EN 1610, Tables 1 and

11、 2, and the clear minimum trench width is according to DIN 4124. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 1610:1997-10 as follows: a) the definition of the minimum working space has been included; b) information on maximum sizes for the materials for the embedment (bedding) for DN 600 have been

12、added in Subclause 5.2.1; c) requirements for industrially manufactured aggregates and recycled construction materials in the embedment have been added in Subclause 5.2.3.4; DIN EN 1610:2015-12 3 d) general requirements on the construction of trenches (pipe-soil-system) have been supplemented in Sub

13、clause 6.1; e) the minimum working space for trenches deeper than 2,5 m has been added; f) Figure 2 has been changed - representation of the minimum working space; g) in Subclause 6.3 (Trench width) the term “minimum working space” has been added; h) in Subclause 12.2 (Visual inspection) the coding

39、sually buried in the ground and usually operating under gravity but up to 0,5 kPa when surcharged. The construction of pipelines operating under pressure is covered by this European Standard together with EN 805 as appropriate (e.g. for testing). This European Standard is applicable to drains and se

40、wers installed in trenches, under embankments or above ground. For trenchless construction EN 12889 applies. Additionally, other local or national regulations may apply, e.g. concerning health and safety, pavement reinstatement and requirements for tightness testing. NOTE Further information is give
