、A comma is used as the decimal marker. Start of application The start of application of this standard is 2013-05-01. National foreword This standard includes safety requirements in Clauses 4 to 12. This document (EN 1949:2011+A1:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 181 “Dedicated LP
、G appliances” (Secretariat: AFNOR, France). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Gastechnik (Gas Technology Standards Committee) with the consensus of the DVGW Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches e.V. (German Technical and Scientific Association for
、Gas and Water). This standard has been included in the body of technical rules and standards for gas issued by the DVGW Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches e.V. (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). This standard includes Amendment A1 approved by CEN on 24 December
、2012. This standard specifies the requirements for the installation of liquefied petroleum gas systems for habitation purposes in leisure accommodation vehicles and in other road vehicles. DVGW-Arbeitsblatt (DVGW Code of practice) G 607 applies regarding requirements for the operation and testing of
、 liquefied petroleum gas systems. In addition, vehicles for commercial use in Germany must also comply with accident prevention regulation BGV D34 Verwendung von Flssiggas (Use of liquefied gases). In Germany, mobile homes are not deemed as road vehicles, they fall under the scope of building regula
、tions. LPG systems in mobile homes must therefore be installed in compliance with the German technical regulations on liquid gas (TRF). These regulations indicate that LPG systems in mobile homes may also be installed in accordance with DIN EN 1949. As regards the specifications in 7.1 on hoses and
、hose assemblies, the requirements applying in Germany are laid down in DIN 4815-2. Because the vehicles dealt with in this standard are distributed throughout Europe, it is expected that in Germany some vehicles will be provided with a manufacturers declaration that is in English. Therefore, the Ger
、man version of this standard also includes an example of an English-language manufacturers declaration in the National Annex NA (see Annex C of the present standard). Translators note. National Annex NA of this standard (the English version of DIN EN 1949) contains an example of a manufacturers decl

Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 1949:2011-11 as follows: a) Amendment A1:2013 has been incorporated; b) normative references have been supplemented; c) the installation of LPG tanks has been revised; d) Figure 12 and the key have been revised; e) Figure 13 has been su
