17、ilding and Civil Engineering Standards Committee). This document is the National Annex to DIN EN 1991-1-4:2010-12, Eurocode 1: Actions on structures Part 1-4: General actions Wind actions. European Standard EN 1991-1-4 allows national safety parameters, referred to as Nationally Determined Parameter

18、s (NDPs), to be specified for a number of points. The NDPs cover alternative verification methods, the provision of individual values and the selection of classes from designated classification systems. The relevant parts of the text are identified in the European Standard by references to the possi

19、bility of national choice and are listed in Clause NA.2.1. This National Annex also includes non-contradictory complementary information (NCl) for the application of DIN EN 1991-1-4:2010-12. This National Annex is an integral part of DIN EN 1991-1-4:2010-12. Together, DIN EN 1991-1-4:2010-12 and thi

20、s National Annex DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA:2010-12 supersede DIN 1055-4:2005-03. Amendments This document differs from DIN 1055-4:2005-03 and DIN 1055-4 Corrigendum 1:2006-03 as follows: a) Provisions from DIN 1055-4 have been incorporated which are to be taken into account when applying DIN EN 1991-1-4 na

Supplementary clauses have been added as required. 1 General 1.1 Scope NCI re 1.1(2) Due to the wind profile applicable in Germany, this standard may be applied to buildings with heights of up to 300 m. NCI re 1.1(6) The informative Annexes B and C are not applicable in G

28、ermany. Annex NA.C applies instead. NDP re 1.1(11), Note 1 This standard applies to buildings with heights of up to 300 m. This standard does not give any guidance for the consideration of gust-induced vibrations if higher modes of oscillation provide a significant contribution. This standard does n

29、ot give any rules for the determination of wind actions on small-format, back-ventilated roof and wall claddings. The measurements and analysis shall be carried out using suitable procedures. 4 W

32、ind velocity and velocity pressure 4.1 Basis for calculation NDP re 4.1(1) Data on mean wind velocity vmfor the peak or gust velocity pressure and on the turbulence intensity applicable to Germany are given in Annex NA.B of this National Annex. DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA:2010-12 7 4.2 Basic values NDP re 4.

33、2(1)P, Note 2 The basic wind velocities for Germany are given in the wind zone map in Annex NA.A of this National Annex. NDP re 4.2(2)P, Note 1 The influence of altitude is taken into account in accordance with Annex NA.A. NDP re 4.2(2)P, Note 2 The recommended value is adopted, i.e. the full numeri

34、cal value of the velocity pressure shall be used for the wind load, irrespective of the direction. The influence of the wind direction may be considered in greater detail if sufficiently reliable statistical data are available. NDP re 4.2(2)P, Note 3 The recommended value is adopted. For Equation (4.2), p 0,02 unless shorter service lives justify higher values. 4.3 Mean wind 4.3.1 Variation with height NDP re 4.3.1(1)P, Note 1 The basic wind velocity given in Annex NA.A does not include any influence of terrain o

36、rography. If terrain orography is required to be considered, then it is taken into account by the orography factor coin accordance with DIN EN 1991-1-4:2010-12, A.3. NDP re 4.3.1(1)P, Note 2 Annex NA.A includes the basic wind velocity vb. Tables NA.B.2 and NA.B.4 in Annex NA.B specify the mean wind

37、velocity increasing with height z. 4.3.2 Terrain roughness NDP re 4.3.2(1) The recommended procedure is not applicable. In Germany, the power-law index profile applies instead of the logarithmic wind profile used in Equation (4.4). This gives correct values for the wind velocity even for heights z b

38、etween 200 m and 300 m. NDP re 4.3.2(2) In Germany, the influence of the terrain roughness is assessed in accordance with Annex NA.B. 4.3.3 Terrain orography NDP re 4.3.3(1) This procedure is adopted. 4.3.4 Lar

40、ge and considerably higher neighbouring structures NDP re 4.3.4(1) No further national provisions are specified. 4.3.5 Closely spaced buildings and obstacles NDP re 4.3.5(1) No further national rules are specified. The gust velocity pressure profile may be shifted upwards by an amount equal to the d

41、isplacement height. Below displacement height a constant velocity value applies as for height hdis. 4.4 Wind turbulence NDP re 4.4(1), Note 2 Equation (4.7) is not applicable due to the fact that in Germany the wind profile is required to be taken into account. The turbulence intensity and the gust

42、velocity pressure shall be calculated in accordance with Tables NA.B.2 and NA.B.4 in Annex NA.B. If the influence of terrain orography is to be taken into account, then Annex NA.B.4 applies. 4.5 Peak velocity pressure NDP re 4.5(1), Note 1 Equation (4.8) is not applicable owing to the wind profile r

43、equired to be taken into account in Germany. The turbulence intensity and the gust velocity pressure shall be calculated in accordance with Annex NA.B, Tables NA.B.2 and NA.B.4. NDP re 4.5(1), Note 2 The recommended value given in DIN EN 1991-1-4 applies. DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA:2010-12 9 5 Wind actions

44、5.3 Wind forces NDP re 5.3(5) The effect may generally be taken into account. This shall be based on verified findings (e.g. from wind tunnel tests). The recommendation given in the note to 7.2.2(3) shall not be applied. 6 Structural factor cscd6.1 General NDP re 6.1(1) Equations (6.2) and (6.3) sha

45、ll not be applied. The procedure specified in the national provisions given in Annex NA.C shall be applied. 6.3 Detailed procedure 6.3.1 Structural factor cscdNDP re 6.3.1(1), Note 3 The procedure given in Annex NA.C shall be used. It shall be applied if the cdvalue is greater than 1,1. A simple cri

46、terion is given in Annex NA.C.2. 6.3.2 Serviceability assessments NDP re 6.3.2(1) The procedure given in Annex NA.C shall be used. 7 Pressure and force coefficients 7.1 General 7.1.2 Asymmetric and counteracting pressures and forces NDP re 7.1.2(2) The recommended procedure is used. In addition, the

47、 load case constituting full wind force without torsion should be examined. 7.1.3 Effects of ice and snow NDP re 7.1.3(1) Since modification of the reference area by ice or snow is a temporary state, the velocity pressure may be reduced. However, if a reduction is applied, then the combination facto

48、rs given in DIN EN 1990 are not permitted to be applied at the same time. For further information see Annex NA.C. DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA:2010-12 10 7.2 Pressure coefficients for buildings 7.2.1 General NDP re 7.2.1(1), Note 2 The recommended procedure given in DIN EN 1991-1-4 applies. 7.2.2 Vertical walls of rectangular plan buildings NDP re 7.2.2(1) The provisions of DIN EN 1991-1-4 apply.
