This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 151 “Construction equipment building mater

5、ial machines Safety” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 060-13-01 AA Erdbau-/Straenbau-maschinen of Section Bau- und Baustoffmaschinen. Representa

6、tives of manufacturers and users of earth-moving machinery, and of the employers liability insurance associations contributed to this standard. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 98/37/EC, (valid until 2

7、8 December 2009) and the “revised Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, which takes effect on 29 December 2009, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requi

8、rements of the directives. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The Europea

9、n Standards referred to in clause 2 and in the bibliography of the EN have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. For the International Standards referred to in this standard there are no national standards available, except for those below, which co

30、tandard as stated in EN ISO 12100-1:2003. The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and events are covered are indicated in the scope of this European Standard. When provisions of this type C standard are different from those which are stated in type A or B standa

31、rds, the provisions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that have been designed and built according to the provisions of this type C standard. DIN EN 474-10:2010-04 EN 474-10:2006+A1:2009 (E) 6 1 Scope This part of EN 474 deals with all si

32、gnificant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to trenchers as defined in EN ISO 6165:2006, when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Clause 4). The requirements of this part are complementary to the common re

33、quirements formulated in !EN 474-1:2006+A1:2009“. This part does not deal with the specific hazards related to derivative use. This part does not repeat the requirements from !EN 474-1:2006+A1:2009“, but adds or replaces the requirements for application for trenchers. This part specifies the appropr

34、iate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events during commissioning, operation and maintenance of trenchers. This European Standard is not applicable to trenchers manufactured before the date of publication of this European

42、 for this document. 3.1 trencher self-propelled crawler or wheeled machine, having a rear- and/or front-mounted equipment/attachment, primarily designed to produce a trench in a continuous operation, through a motion of the machine; the attachment can be a digging chain, wheel disk, plough blade or

43、similar tool (see EN ISO 6165:2006) 3.2 protective bar structure generally above and parallel to the digging chain which provides a degree of protection from contact with the digging element (see figures in Annex B) 3.3 trench narrow horizontal excavation for which, in general, the depth is greater

45、ich require action to eliminate or reduce the risk. 5 Safety requirements and/or measures 5.1 General Trenchers shall comply with the requirements of !EN 474-1:2006+A1:2009“, as far as not modified or replaced by the requirements of this part. 5.2 Ride-on operated trenchers 5.2.1 Operators station F

46、or minimum space envelope !EN 474-1:2006+A1:2009“, 5.3.1 applies with the exception that, for trenchers with an operating mass according to !ISO 6016:2008“ of less than 2 000 kg, the minimum space envelope width dimension 920 mm according to !EN ISO 3411:2007“, Figure 5 may be reduced to 650 mm at e

47、lbow height. DIN EN 474-10:2010-04 EN 474-10:2006+A1:2009 (E) 8 5.2.2 Roll-over protective structure (ROPS) A roll-over protective structure (ROPS) shall be fitted. Force and energy equation shall be according to Table 1, no. 3 of !EN ISO 3471:2008“. The operators station of trenchers with an elevat

48、ing operators station shall meet the requirements of !EN 474- 1:2006+A1:2009“, Annex D. 5.2.3 Operators seat 5.2.3.1 General !EN 474-1:2006+A1:2009“, 5.4.1.2 applies with the exceptions in 5.2.3.2 and 5.2.3.3. 5.2.3.2 Adjustment 5.2.3.2.1 Seat with a longitudinal position For machines with an operat
