The responsible German body involved in its preparation was DIN-Normenausschuss Feuerwehrwesen (DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection), Working Group NA 031-02-01-08 AK Brandmelder Gruppe A of

This European product standard specifies requirements, test methods and essential performance requirements for multi-sense point detectors for use in fire detection and alarm systems permanently installed in buildings and which con

9、tain a minimum of one carbon monoxide sensor and one heat sensor in their casings. Their overall performance is the result of the combination of sensors that detect various fire phenomena. The system requirements and technical application rules for fire detection and fire alarm systems complying wit

10、h this standard are specified in DIN 14675 and DIN VDE 0833-2 (VDE 0833-2). It should be noted that, in Germany, smoke detection and the corresponding activation of fire protection dampers are to meet the requirements for building inspectorate approval by the Deutsches Institut fr Bautechnik (DIBt)
