This document (EN 690:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 144 “Tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry” (Secretariat: AFNOR, France), Working Group WG 3 “Mobile machines and trailers”. The responsible German

5、body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 060-16-08 AA Transporttechnik of Section Landtechnik. Representatives of manufacturers and users of agricultural machinery, and of the employers liability insuranc

6、e associations contributed to this standard. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This sta

7、ndard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of that directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirement

8、s of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standards referred to in Clause 2 and in the Bibliography of the EN have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. Where the International Standards referred to are not also DIN IS

9、O Standards with the same number, there are no national standards available. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 690:2009-12 as follows: a) requirements have been included for a control device which causes automatic disengagement of power transmission in case of self-propelled machinery; b)

10、 requirements for the cleaning of manure spreaders have been supplemented; c) requirements for noise reduction have been supplemented; d) requirements for the protection against projectiles have been modified; e) requirements for the conveyor guarding have been modified; f) requirements for means of

DIN EN 690:2014-03 EN 690:2013 (E) 4 Introduction This document is a type-C standard as specified in EN ISO 12100. The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous sit

29、uations and hazardous events are covered are indicated in the Scope of this document. These hazards are specific to manure spreaders. Significant hazards that are common to all the agricultural machines (self-propelled, mounted, semi-mounted and trailed) are dealt with in EN ISO 4254-1. When provisi

30、ons of this type C standard are different from those which are stated in type A or B standards, the provisions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that have been designed and built according to the provisions of this type C standard. 31、N 690:2014-03 EN 690:2013 (E) 5 1 Scope This European Standard, to be used together with EN ISO 4254-1, specifies the safety requirements and their verification for the design and construction of self-propelled, mounted, semi-mounted and trailed manure spreaders, provided with vertical or horizontal

32、 axes rotors rear spreader device or with vertical axes disc rear spreader device. In addition, it specifies the type of information on safe working practices to be provided by the manufacturer. When requirements of this document are different from those which are stated in EN ISO 4254-1, the requir

33、ements of this document take precedence over the requirements of EN ISO 4254-1 for machines that have been designed and built according the provisions of this document. This European Standard, taken together with EN ISO 4254-1, deals with all the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events

34、relevant to manure spreaders, when they are used as intended and under the conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Table 1), excepting the hazards arising from: vibrations of self-propelled machinery; travelling function of self-propelled machinery; overturning

35、 in regard to the protection of the operator at the driving station of a self-propelled machine; hazards related to conveying devices other than those defined in 3.3.1 and 3.3.2, for example load push/push-off device. NOTE 1 Regarding roll-over protection for self-propelled agricultural machinery, s

36、ee EN ISO 16231-1. NOTE 2 This European Standard is neither applicable to environmental hazards nor to road safety. Environmental aspects are dealt with in EN 13080.
