Representatives of manufacturers and users of thermoprocessing equipment, and of the employers liability insurance associations contributed to this standard. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set ou

7、t in Annex I of the new “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directives. Once this standard is

8、cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standards referred to in Clause 2 and in the Bi

9、bliography of the EN have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. For the International Standards referred to in this standard there are no national standards available unless they have been published as DIN ISO standards with the same number. Amendme

10、nts This standard differs from DIN EN 746-2:1997-05 as follows: a) Subclause 5.7 “Design requirements for electrical and electronic equipment for control system and protective system” has been included; b) Annex ZA (informative) “Relationship between this European Standard and the Essential Requirem

Compared with DIN EN 746-2:2010-10, the following corrections have been made to the German version only and therefore do not affect the English text: a) in Subclause 5.2.2.3.3, last paragraph, the text following the first item: “ in case of high te

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by May 2011. 44、uropean Standard is a Type C standard as defined in EN ISO 12100-1. The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and events are covered, is indicated in the scope of this document. When provisions of this type C standard are different from those which are stated in t

45、ype A or B standards, the provisions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that have been designed and built according to the provisions of this type C standard. This Part of EN 746 assumes that the equipment is not creating any potentially
