This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to hand-held non-electric power tools that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within

8、 the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance wit

9、h the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). For the International Standards referred to in this document there are no national standards available unless they have been published as DIN EN, DIN EN ISO or DIN ISO standards with the same number. 10、d differs from DIN EN 792-2:2009-12 as follows: a) the text of ISO 11148-2 has been adopted in its entirety; b) technical requirements of ANSI B.186.1 and references to EN ISO 12100 have been incorporated; c) vibration total values and noise-emission values and their uncertainties are to be declared

11、; d) technical requirements have been brought in line with EN 60745 (IEC 60745); e) user instructions are to include further and more detailed safety instructions. 28、 Introduction This document is a type-C standard as stated in ISO 12100. The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and events are covered are defined in the Scope of this part of ISO 11148. When requirements of this type-C standard are different from those which a

29、re stated in type-A or -B standards, the requirements of this type-C standard take precedence over the requirements of other standards for machines that have been designed and built according to the requirements of this type-C standard. ISO 11148 consists of a number of independent parts for individ

30、ual types of hand-held non-electric power tools. Certain parts of ISO 11148 cover hand-held non-electric power tools driven by internal combustion engines powered by gaseous or liquid fuel. In these parts, the safety aspects relating to internal combustion engines are found in a normative annex. The

31、 parts are type-C standards and refer to pertinent standards of type A and B where such standards are applicable. 33、on (hereinafter “cutting-off and crimping power tools”) intended for cutting off wires, cables, etc., and for crimping, for instance, connectors to cable ends. The cutting-off and crimping power tools can be powered by compressed air, hydraulic fluid or internal combustion engines and are intended t

34、o be used by one operator and supported by the operators hand or hands, with or without a suspension, e.g. a balancer. NOTE 1 At the time of publication, no cutting-off or crimping power tools driven by internal combustion engines are known. Once these are identified, it is intended to amend this pa

35、rt of ISO 11148 to include such power tools. This part of ISO 11148 is applicable to: crimping tools without a yoke; cutters; cutting-off tools; cutting pliers; crimping pliers. NOTE 2 For examples of cutting-off and crimping power tools, see Annex B. This part of ISO 11148 is not applicable to spec

36、ial requirements and modifications of cutting-off and crimping power tools for the purpose of mounting them in fixtures, and it is not applicable to “double acting hydraulic rescue tools for fire and rescue service use”. This part of ISO 11148 deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations

37、 or hazardous events relevant to cutting-off and crimping power tools when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer, with the exception of the use of cutting-off and crimping power tools in potentially explosive atmospheres. NOTE 3

38、 EN 13463-1 gives requirements for non-electrical equipment for potentially explosive atmospheres.
