8、pted in its entirety. b) Compression-moulding conditions have been given in detail (Table 1). c) Conditioning of test specimens in accordance with ISO 291 has been specified. d) In Table 2, the general properties to be determined have been selected from ISO 10350 and the standards referred to in thi

9、s table have been updated. e) In Table 3, additional properties and test conditions (e.g. Charpy notched impact strength) have been included. f) Annex A (normative) specifies a method for the determination of the elongational stress (formerly “flow value”). g) Annex B (normative) specifies a method

Requirements for handling test materialand for conditioning both the test material before moulding and the specimens before testing are given here.Procedures and conditions for the preparation of test specimens and procedures for measuring properties of thematerials from which these specimens ar

29、e made are given. Properties and test methods which are suitable andnecessary to characterize PE-UHMW moulding and extrusion materials are listed.The properties have been selected from the general test methods in ISO 10350-1. Other test methods in wide usefor or of particular significance to these m

30、oulding and extrusion materials are also included in this part of ISO 11542,as are the designatory properties specified in part 1.In order to obtain reproducible and comparable test results, it is necessary to use the methods of preparation andconditioning, the specimen dimensions and the test proce

31、dures specified herein. 44、reparation of test specimensIt is essential that specimens are always prepared by the same procedure using the same conditions. The testspecimens shall be prepared by compression moulding.3.1 Treatment of the material before mouldingBefore processing, no pretreatment of the material sample is normal

45、ly necessary.3.2 Compression mouldingCompression-moulded sheets shall be prepared in accordance with ISO 293 using the conditions specified intable 1.
