The responsible German body involved in

6、its preparation was DIN-Normenausschuss Automobiltechnik (DIN Standards Committee Road Vehicle Engineering), Working Committee NA 052-00-37 AA “Electrically propelled road vehicles”. This standard specifies the electrical safety requirements for the line connection of electrically propelled road veh

7、icles with an external electric power supply. This standard is applicable to vehicles of categories L6 and L7 according to ECE regulations. This standard does not exclude class II solutions. It is not applicable to motorcycles and vehicles not primarily intended for use on public roads, e.g. forklif

8、t trucks. No information is given for manufacturers and maintenance staff. Requirements for the case that the vehicle is not connected to the power supply are contained in ISO 6469-3. In general, it may apply to motorcycles and mopeds if no dedicated standards for these vehicles exist.It applies only to vehicle power supply circuits.
