3、as XSM, SM, MED and LG. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS General description. The skirt shall consist of a three piece skirt and a full elastic waistband, which has a one piece front with a knitted nylon cloth stretch panel inserted across the upper front and a two piece back with waist darts. The skirt shal

The elastic waistband stabilizer shall

11、be Ban-Rol XL 90 or equal and shall be 12 1/16 inches in width. Finishina tape. The tape for finishing the bottom of the skirt shall be a rayon, textile, flat weave tape, having a width of either 1/2 2 1/16 inch; 9/16 2 1/32 inch; 1-1/8 2 1/32 inch; or 1-1/4 2 1/32 inch. except for the 1-1/4 inch ta

The basic cloth shall consist of either spunbonded polyester made from 4.0 denier (.44 Tex) continuous filament white polyester fiber or 80/20 polyester/cell

19、ulose material, impregnated and coated with a permanent pigmented acrylic or nitrocellulose composition affixed by an appropriate acrylic or nitrocellulose resin. The label shall show a minimum of Class 4 - Colorfastness to Accelerated Laundering Transference (Wool), when tested as specified accordi

20、ng to test method AATCC 61, Test 1A. The contractor is responsible for grading patterns for additional sizes. The pattern generally provides for a seam allowance of 3 inches for he

22、mming the bottom of the skirt and a 5/8 inch seam allowance for all seams. Commercial patterns may be used in lieu of the government furnished pattern provided they conform to the cited design and finished measurements. Workmanship. After completion, the finished skirt shall be thoroughly cleaned, a

23、nd all loose thread, lint, and foreign matter removed. The entire skirt shall be pressed smooth with heated pressing iron or pressing machine. Press marks and gloss shall be removed. Product demonstration model. When required, offerors shall submit samples of their intended production. The product d

24、emonstration model will consist of units independently developed. Product demonstration models will be analyzed and evaluated by the government. Evaluation criteria and basis for award are contained in the solicitation. Product demonstration models will be retained by the government. One (1) product

25、 demonstration model approved by DPSC under the resultant contract will serve as a manufacturing standard for the corresponding production items delivered under this contract. Offerors are advised that the product demonstration model does not relieve the successful offerer of his responsibility to p

The contractor shall certify that the produc

27、t offered meets the salient characteristics of this description and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards and quality assurance practices. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to the first delivery and thereafter as

28、 may be otherwise provided for, under the provisions of the contract. Reliance on contractor Quality Assurance systems shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of ensuring that all products or supplies submitted to the government for acceptance comply with all requirements of the contr

29、act. Visual examination. Sampling and examination of the end item shall be performed for dress (d) skirts in accordance with the provisions of MIL-STD-1609 - Provisions For Evaluating Quality Of Womens Skirts. Dimensional Examination. The dimensional examination provisions for the finished skirts sh

30、all be as listed in the Finished measurements paragraph contained in this Commercial Item Description and as specified in MIL-STD-1609 - Provisions For Evaluating Quality Of Womens Skirts. Packaqinq Examination. The examination for compliance with packaging, packing and marking requirements shall be
