SCOPE. This Commercial Item Description (CID) covers th
2、e requirements for a kit that augments the High Angle Mountaineering Kit (HAMK) (A-A-59869) beyond the forty personnel it supports. It will provide one user the equipment necessary to perform the same tasks as Soldiers who are issued the HAMK. 2. CLASSIFICATION. The High Angle Mountaineering Kit (HA
3、MK) Single Pack will be furnished as one kit. 3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS. The kit shall be composed of the following items in the following quantities as listed in Table I: TABLE I. Individual item dimensions shall be in accordance with drawings and specification requirem
7、ents specified in the applicable CID document (see Table I) unless item is a manufacturers part number/cage code then, in which manufacturers current specifications apply. 3.2 Color. Individual item colors shall be in accordance with applicable specifications (see Table I). 3.3 End item testing. Ind
8、ividual item test standards shall be in accordance with their related International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation Standards, where applicable. 3.4 Materials. Individual item materials shall be in accordance with applicable specifications (see Table I). 3.5 Workmanship. The HAMK Single Pack
9、shall conform to the quality of product established by this document. The occurrence of defects shall not exceed the contractors own quality assurance standards and the quality assurance standards defined in the technical data in the solicitation and/or contract. 3.6 Service life. The HAMK Single Pa
10、ck shall have no unexpected material or component failures during a continuous one-year cycle. The HAMK Single Pack shall have no unexpected material or component failures during periodic use over a five year period. 3.7 Labels/barcoding/instruction slip. If applicable, all labeling, barcoding and i
11、nstruction slip requirements shall be as specified in the solicitation or contract (see 7.2). 3.7.1 Labels. Each High Angle Mountaineering Kit (HAMK) Single Pack shall have identification label Class 5 conforming to Type VI of MIL-DTL-32075. The color of the label shall be white. The following infor

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practica
15、ble, in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). 4.1 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum extent possible, provided that the material meets or exce
16、eds the operational and maintenance requirements and promotes economically advantageous life cycle costs. 5. PRODUCT CONFORMANCE PROVISIONS. 5.1 Product conformance. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this Commercial Item Description, conform to the producers own drawing
17、s, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial marketplace. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance. 5.2 End item examination. Each kit shall be examined for the following defects as listed in T
