This drawing describes the requirements for a fixed, film, resistor network with 36 pad ball grid array. 1.2 Part or Identifying Number (PIN). The complete PIN is as follows: 09017 - * * * Drawing

Unless otherwise noted herein or in the event of a conflict be

7、tween the text of this document and the references cited herein, the text of this document takes precedence. Nothing in this document, however, supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Item requirements. The individual item require

8、ments shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342 and as specified herein. 3.2 Interface and physical dimensions. The resistor shall meet the interface and physical dimensions as specified in MIL-PRF-55342 and herein (see figure 1). 3.3 Electrical characteristics 3.3.1 Resistance. The four-digit resis

9、tance designation is applicable to all resistance tolerances. The nominal resistance is identified by four digits; the first three digits represent significant figures and the last digit specifies the number of zeros to follow. When the value of resistance is less than 100 ohms, or when a fractional

10、 value of an ohm is required, the “R” will be substituted for one of the significant digits to represent the decimal point. When the letter “R” is used, succeeding digits of the group represent significant figures. The resistance values designations are shown in table I. Standard values for every de

11、cade will follow the sequence demonstrated for “10 to 100” decade in table II. Resistance values not listed in table II for the appropriate resistance tolerance will be considered as not conforming to the specification. 25、teristic. Unless otherwise specified, the resistance temperature characteristic shall be 100 ppm/OC. 3.3.3 Resistance tolerance. The resistor power rating for individual resistors shall be 100 milliwatts (.1 Watt) maximum at 70OC derated to zero watts at 85OC. 3.3.5 Package power rating. The package power

27、 rating shall be 1,200 milliwatts (1.2 Watts) maximum at 70OC derated to zero watts at 85OC (see figure 2). FIGURE 2. Derating curve. 3.3.6 Schematic. 29、PAGE 6 3.3.7 Pure tin. The use of pure tin, as an underplate or final finish, is prohibited both internally and externally. Tin content of resistor components and solder shall not exceed 97 percent, by mass. Tin shall be alloyed with a minimum of 3 percent lead, by mass (see 6.3). 3.4 Thermal shock.

30、 When networks are tested as specified in MIL-PRF-55342, for thermal shock the change in resistance shall not exceed 0.1 percent 0.01 ohm. 3.5 Low temperature operation. When networks are tested as specified in MIL-PRF-55342, for low temperature operation the change in resistance shall not exceed 0.

31、05 percent 0.01 ohm. 3.6 Short time overload. When networks are tested as specified in MIL-PRF-55342, for short time overload the change in resistance shall not exceed 0.05 percent 0.01 ohm. 3.7 High temperature exposure. When networks are tested as specified in MIL-PRF-55342, for high temperature e

32、xposure the change in resistance shall not exceed 0.1 percent 0.01 ohm. 3.8 Resistance to soldering heat. When networks are tested as specified in MIL-PRF-55342, for resistance to soldering heat the change in resistance shall not exceed 0.05 percent 0.01 ohm. 3.9 Moisture resistance. When networks a

33、re tested as specified in MIL-PRF-55342, for moisture resistance the change in resistance shall not exceed 0.02 percent 0.01 ohm. 3.10 Resistance temperature characteristic. When networks are tested as specified in MIL-PRF-55342, the RTC shall not exceed the values specified (see 3.3.2). 3.11 Markin

34、g. Marking is not required on this resistor; however, each waffle pack and each unit package shall be marked with the PIN assigned herein (see 1.2), the manufacturers identification code, the date code, and the lot code. At the option of the manufacturer, the resistor may be marked (i.e., laser, col

35、or dot, etc.). The marking shall remain legible after all tests. 3.12 Manufacturer eligibility. To be eligible for listing as a approved source of supply, a manufacturer shall be listed on the MIL-PRF-55342 Qualified Products List for at least one part, or perform the group A and group B inspections

36、 specified herein on a sample of parts agreed upon by the manufacturer and DSCC-VA. 3.12.1 Certificate of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be required from manufacturers requesting to be listed as approved sources of supply. 3.13 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materi

37、als. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum extent possible provided that the material meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements and promotes economically advantageous life cycle costs. 3.14 Workmanship. Resistors shall be proce

38、ssed in such a manner as to be uniform in quality and be free from defects that will affect life, serviceability, or appearance. 4. VERIFICATION 4.1 Qualification inspection. Qualification inspection in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342 is not applicable to this document. Provided by IHSNot for ResaleNo

Inspection of product for delivery shall consist of the group A

40、 and B inspections of MIL-PRF-55342. 4.2.1.1 Group A inspection. Group A inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342 with the following exceptions. 4.2.1.1.1 Visual Inspection. The visual inspection of Subgroup 1 is not required. 4.2.1.1.2 Solderability. The method for solderability test fo

41、r Subgroup 4 shall be conducted per manufacturers standard practice. All terminations shall exhibit a continuous solder coating free from defects for a minimum of 95 percent of the critical surface area of any individual termination. Anomalies other than dewetting, non-wetting, and pinholes are not

42、cause for rejection. 4.2.1.2 Group B inspection. Group B inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342. 4.2.1.2.1 Certification. The acquiring activity, at its discretion, may accept a certificate of compliance with group B requirements in lieu of performing group B tests (see 6.2d). 5. PACKA

43、GING 5.1 Packaging. For acquisition purpose, the packaging requirements shall be as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2). When packaging of materiel is to be performed by DoD or in-house contractor personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packaging activity to ascertain pac

44、kaging requirements. Packaging requirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activities within the Military Service or Defense Agency, or within the military services system commands. Packaging data retrieval is available from the managing Military Departments or Defense Agen

45、cys automated packaging files, CD-ROM products, or by contacting the responsible packaging activity. 6. NOTES (This section contains information of a general or explanatory nature that may be helpful, but is not mandatory.) 6.1 Intended use. Resistors conforming to this drawing are intended for use

46、when military specifications do not exist and qualified military devices that will perform the required function are not available for the OEM application. 6.2 Ordering data. The contract or purchase order should specify the following: a. Complete PIN (see 1.2). b. Requirements for delivery; One cop

47、y of the conformance inspection data or a certificate of compliance that parts have passed conformance inspection with each shipment of parts by the manufacturer. c. Packaging requirements (see 5.1). (i.e. Electrostatic discharge sensitive packaging). d. Whether the manufacturer performs the group B

48、 tests or provides certificate of compliance with group B (see 4.2.1.2.1).
