This drawing outlines the requirements for a specific member of a family of compact high contact density (.050 inch (1.27 mm), high performance two piece electrical connectors. Th

5、ese connectors are intended for printed circuit board (plug in dual heat sinked daughter board modules, and fixed backplanes) applications utilizing surface mount daughter board and compliant pin backpanel termination techniques. The connector family includes members, which provide combinations of l

6、ow power signal contacts, power contacts, shielded contacts and optical termini. The connector family offers severe operating environment performance capability, such as protective hoods, contact sealing, interfacial seals, electrostatic shielding and other advanced capabilities. This connector fami

7、ly is organized and fabricated utilizing modular design, with available connector module blocks which can be grouped to provide for combinations of low power signal contacts, fiber optic termini, power contacts, and shielded contacts. Specific implementation grouping of these module blocks constitut

8、es elements of the connector family. This specific requirements drawing details a member of the connector family which is composed of: a. 6 standard low power insulator blocks b. 1 beta end c. 1 alpha end d. 1 center insulator with safety ground. For use with standard low power tuning fork contacts,

9、 which when combined provided a total of 356 signal contacts and 1 safety ground. This assembly mates with a DSCC drawing 93011 backpanel connector. The backpanel connector assembly also includes and electrostatic shield which mates with a daughter card connector metal shroud, providing an electrost

10、atic shield for all contact in the connector pair. The backpanel connector insulator blocks also provide for installation of three connector keying bushings and allows for use of a center guide pin. This family member does not include module blocks, which contain fiber optic termini, or shielded con

11、tact elements. Other members of this connectors family, which include these additional capabilities, are included in separate DSCC drawings. 1.2 Part or Identifying Number (PIN). The complete PIN shall be as specified on the item requirements drawing and constructed using the following format: 93010

In the event of a conflict between the text of this document and the references cited herein, the text of this document takes precedence. Nothing in this document, however, supersedes applicable laws a

33、nd regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 DSCC requirements. The individual item requirements shall meet the requirements of DSCC drawing 89065 for blade and fork type connectors except as specified herein. Any requirements included in this drawing shall be in

34、 addition to, or supersede those requirements included in DSCC drawing 89065. In case of conflict between the requirements detailed in this drawing and those details in DSCC drawing 89065, the requirements of this drawing shall take precedence. 3.2 Design configuration. The design, construction, and

35、 physical dimensions shall be as specified in figures 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 herein and DSCC drawing 89065. In case of conflict between this drawing and DSCC drawing 89065, this drawing shall govern. 3.2.1 Design documentation. The design documentation shall be in accordance with DSCC drawing 89065 and b

36、e retained by the manufacturer, but be available for review by the contracting activity, DSCC, or contractor upon request. 3.3 Electrical and environmental performance characteristics. The electrical and environmental characteristics shall be in accordance with DSCC drawing 89065 unless otherwise sp

37、ecified in this drawing. 3.4 Module displacement force. The connector shall allow for cold-wall clamping of attached daughter card modules. The connector shall require no more than 75 pounds to displace the connector frame .003 inches (0.08 mm) laterally for single-sided mounting ears (non-float mou

38、nt) and .006 inches (0.15 mm) for double-sided mounting ears (float mount in either direction when tested in accordance with DSCC drawing 89065. No degradation of performance is allowed after this test. 3.5 Marking. The connector shall be marked with the DSCC drawing PIN, the manufacturers name or C

39、AGE code, and the production date code in accordance with DSCC drawing 89065. The marking shall be permanent and legible in accordance with DECC drawing 89065. 3.6 Material requirements. The materials to be used in construction and fabrication shall be as specified in this drawing. Materials require

40、d, but not specified in this drawing shall be in accordance with DSCC drawing 89065. 3.6.1 Connector materials. 3.6.1.1 Connector shell materials. The connector shell (frame) shall be fabricated from Aluminum 6061-T6 in accordance with AMS-QQ-A-200/8 or ASTM B241. 3.6.1.1.1 Connector shell finish. T

41、he connector shell shall be nickel plated overall in accordance with SAE-AMS-2404, 9-12 percent phosphorus, 300 to 1000 microinches (7.62 to 25.4 m) thick. 3.6.1.2 Connector insulator. The connector insulator/terminal alignment guide blocks shall be fabricated from polypheneline sulfide, 40 percent

42、glass reinforced, type GST-40F in accordance with MIL-M-24519, ASTM D4067 or liquid crystal polymer (LCP), glass reinforced, in accordance in MIL-M-24519, type GLCP-30F, or ASTM D5138 type LCP0120G30A43430 EA300ED035EE200EF140. 3.6.1.3 Blade contact material. Blade contacts shall be brass, half-hard

43、 minimum, in accordance with ASTM B36 alloy C26000. 3.6.1.3.1 The blade contact finish. The blade contact, over all areas, shall gold plated in accordance with ASTM B488, type II, code C, class 1.27 (50 microinches) minimum, over 50 to 150 microinches (1.27 to 2.54 m) of nickel in accordance with AM

44、S-QQ-N-290, class 2. Termination tails shall be brass, half hard minimum accordance with ASTM B36, alloy C26000. 3.6.1.5.1 Termination t

The termination tails shall be underplated 50 microinches (1.27 m) minimum with nickel in accordance with AMS-QQ-N-290, class 1, with selective reflow tin/lead over plating. 3.6.1.6 Guide pin material. The guide pin material shall be stainless steel in accordance with ASTM A582, 300 seri

47、es, low magnetic permeability. 3.6.1.6.1 Guide pin finish. The guide pin finish shall be passivated in accordance with AMS-QQ-P-35. 3.6.1.7 Polarizing key material. The key pin shall be stainless steel in accordance with ASTM A582, 300 series, low magnetic permeability. 3.6.1.7.1 Polarizing key fini

48、sh. The polarizing key finish shall be passivated in accordance with AMS-QQ-P-35. 3.6.2 Mating and Unmating force. Mating and unmating force requirements for connector, shells, guide pins, fiber optic termini, and safety ground are TBD. 4. VERIFICATION 4.1 Classification of inspections. The inspecti

49、on requirements specified herein are classified as follows: a. Qualification inspection (see 4.2). b. Conformance inspection (see 4.3). 4.1.1 Equipment calibration. All test equipment and inspection facilities used in the performance of any test shall be maintained in a calibration system in accordance with ANSI/NCSL Z540.1. 4.2 Qualification inspection. Qualification inspection for connectors specified herein shall not be required. 4.3 Confor
