SCOPE 1.1 This specification covers one type of laundry marking pin set,
2、 complete with carrier cases, trays, and numbered and plain pins, furnished either as complete sets or as individual components (see 6.2). 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 General. The documents listed in this section are specified in section 3, 4, or 5 of this standard. This section does not include doc
3、uments cited in other sections of this standard or recommended for additional information or as examples. While every effort has been made to ensure the completeness of this list, document users are cautioned that they must meet all specified requirements of documents cited in section 3, 4, or 5 of

8、in process. 4.2.3 End item inspection. The inspection lot shall consist of all completely fabricated pin sets offered for inspection at one time. The sample unit shall be one complete pin set. 4.2.3.1 Visual examination. Examination of the end item shall be made in accordance with the classification
9、 of defects in table II. The inspection level shall be level II with an acceptable quality level (AQL) of 2.5 for major defects and 6.5 for total defects, expressed in terms of defects per hundred units. TABLE II. Inspection shall be made of pin sets for compliance with dimensions specified. Any deviation from specified requirements shall constitute a defe
20、ct. The inspection level shall be S-2 with an AQL of 4.0, expressed in terms of defects per hundred units. 5. PACKAGING. 5.1 Packaging. For acquisition purposes, the packaging requirements shall be as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2). When packaging of materiel is to be performed by DoD
21、or in-house contractor personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packaging activity to ascertain packaging requirements. Packaging requirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activities within the Military Service or Defense Agency, or within the military s
