This standard provides detailed requirements and approved uniform methods for packaging, packing, and marking of petroleum and related products for shipment, handling and storage. 1.2 Application. 1.2.1 Ce

33、ntrally procured items. The level of protection, as well as any special marking requirements, should be incorporated in the appropriate purchasing documents. 1.2.2 Locally procured items. This standard is not mandatory for items locally procured for immediate use. 1.3 Options. Where options are indi

34、cated concerning methods of packaging or designation of the method is not specified in the contract or order, the selection should be at the option of the contractor. 2.
