The non-sensitive pushbutton switches covered by this detail specification: (a) Will snap-in mount in either a .75 inch (19.0 mm) square or a .75 inch (19.0 mm) x 1.141 (29.0 mm) rectangular

7、 panel cutout. Have a rated voltage not exceeding 250 Vac. (b) (c) Have a rated current not exceeding 10 amperes. (d) Have a logic load rating. (e) Are intended for use as power (line-disconnect) switches or control switches in various equipment including, but not restricted to office and business m

8、achines, instrumentation, vending machines, industrial controls, computer consoles, communications equipment, and appliances. 2.0 DEFINITIONS In addition to the definitions of EIA Recommended Standard RS-446, the following definitions shall apply: (a) Dead Front - When the lamp is not illuminated, t

9、he display screen is black. When the lamp is illuminated, a different color or a legend appears on the display screen. Projected Color - The color is projected from a color filter onto the display screen which is usually white when the lamp is not illuminated. Transmitted Color - The color of the di

10、splay screen is transmitted to the viewer. (b) IC) 3.0 DESIGN REQUIREMENTS The following design requirements supplement the design requirements of EIA Recommended Standard RS-446. 3.1 Dimensions 3.1.1 Terminal Dimensions The terminai dimensions shall be in accordance with Figures I, II and III. The

11、dashed lines in Figure I and II represent the maximum dimensions within which the terminals must be located. The terminal location within the specified envelope is optional. 3.1.2 Button Dimensions The button dimensions shall be in accordance with Figures I, II, and III. 3.2 Attitude The switches sh

12、all be so constructed as to insure proper operation when mounted in any direction.
