23、e. In addition to operating temperature, the components heat dissipation capability may be either enhanced or diminished depending upon board level thermal management practices. When calculated power levels approach these maximum ratings, it is recommended that actual component temperatures be measu
24、red to assure that the actual temperature rise is within the stated guidelines. 8.3 Ripple current 8.3.1 Polarity Although these capacitors are rated to operate with the specified levels of rms ripple current, they are polar devices. Care must be exercised to assure that sufficient DC bias is applie
25、d to prevent polarity reversal. 8.3.2 Parallel capacitors When two or more capacitors are used in parallel, ripple current may not divide equally as a result of unequal ESR of the capacitors. It is imperative that each capacitor be operated within the specified limit of rms ripple current. 9 Additio
26、nal or increased severities or requirements to those specified in the Generic and/or Sectional Specification 9.1 DC-rated (Ud, category (U,) and surge voltages 9.1.1 Operating temperature range These capacitors are designed to operate over the temperature range of -55 OC to +85 OC at rated voltage.
27、These capacitors may be operated up to +125 “C linearly derated to 2/3 the rated voltage as shown in table 8.
