11、 EIA CE-2.0 Committee on National Connector Standards, and previously published in EIA-364-15B.) 1 Introduction 1.1 Scope This standard establishes a test method to determine the exposed contact (pin or socket) strength for contact sizes 20 and smaller when subjected to a defined bending stress (or
12、moment). 2 Test resources 2.1 Test equipment Test equipment shall consist of a displacement meter and a suitable means of positively securing the exposed contact. 2.1.1 Displacement meter A displacement meter (i.e. dial indicator) having an accuracy of 5% shall be used to measure permanent set. 2.1.
13、2 Mounting fixture A fixture that positively secures the exposed contact, in the area indicated in figure 1, shall be used. 3 Test specimen 3.1 Description A test specimen shall consist of an exposed contact, unless than otherwise specified in the referencing document. 3.2 Preparation The test speci

The load shall be maintained for 60 seconds +15 seconds, -0 seconds. 4.2 Permanent set The permanent set shall be the difference between the initial position of the contact before the load is applied, and the final position of the contact after pres

The degree of permanent set shall not exceed 0.13 millimeters (0.005 inch) at the 0.8 L load point unless otherwise specified in the referencing document. 5 Details to be specified The following details shall be specified in the referencing document: 5.1 Number of speci
