9、termine if the lens colors fall within specified limits. 2. PROCEDURE 2.1 The chromaticity shall be determined by spectrometric or visual means using one of the Techniques described below. (a) Technique I: Spectrophotometer, flat slab - Chromaticity shall be determined using a spectrometer, flat sla
10、b material of the same density and thickness as the shaped filter, and necessary calibration filters. (b) Technique II: Spectroradiometric - Chromaticity shall be determined using a spectroradiometer, a complete illuminated pushbutton assembly, calibrated lamps of specified color temperature, and ne
11、cessary calibration filters. (c) Technique III: Visual Comparator - Chromaticity shall be determined by a color comparator, necessary high and low limit filters of known chromaticity, and calibrated light sources of specific color temperature. 3. SUMMARY The following details must be specified in th
12、e individual specification: 3.1 The chromaticities of the lens color shall be expressed as x and y coordinated on the 1931 CIE Chromaticity Diagram or as u & v1 on the 1976 CIE Chromaticity Diagram which WU describe the acceptable area for the color. 3.2 The kelvin (K) temperature value of the illumination source. 3.3 The technique to be used to determine chromaticity. 3.4 The tolerance for acceptance/rejection criteria.
