4、a sheets for JEDEC regis- tration purposes. c I e 1 - EIA TEP173 70 m 3234b00 0008507 8 = RECOMMENDED PRACTICE FOR QUALITY CONTROL OF X-RADIATION - EMITTED FROM HIGH VOLTAGE RECTIFIER AND -SHUNT FEGULATOR RECEIVING TUBES PURPOSE AND SCOPE 1.1 Purpose - To establish the statistical acceptance criteri

5、a for controlling soft x-radiation from high voltage receiving tubes initially and during life. 1.2 Scope - These statistics apply to the measurement of x-radiation emitted from high voltage rectifiers qnd shunt regulators. These x-radiationsare considered as the soft x-ray variety emanating from th

6、e tube and produced by an accelerating po- tential in excess of 10,000 volts. 2. APPLICABU DOCUMENTS * e 2.1 JEDEC Publication No. 67 - “Recommended Practice for the Measure- ment of X-Radiation from Receiving Tubes. 11 2.2 Military Standard - MIL-STD-105D - . II Sampling Procedures and Tables for I

7、nspection by Attributes“. 2.3 JEDEC Publication No. 68 - “Glospary of Recommended Quality Control and Reliability Terms“. 3. APPARATUS (EQUIPMENT) AND TEST PROCEDURES 3.1 Testing shall be conducted with the equipment and procedures specified in JEDEC Publication No. 67. 3.2 Test Conditions - Electri

8、cal test conditions of the tube under test shall be the Industry Maximum Ratingsas described in JEDEC Publication No. 67 and which appear on the individual EIA Tube Registration (Release) * * The latest issue of all documents shall be used. 9、.1 Sampling of each lot shall be conducted using the general concepts of Military Standard MIL-STD-105D and the specific details of this publication. ” 5. PRODUCTION LOT 5.1 A manufactured or inspection lot shall be defined as a group of completed tubes of one type which are manufactured under essen

10、tially the same conditions with respect to material, construction, and processing during a maximum period of 24- hours. For extremely low production types (less than 2000 tubes per day), tubes manufactured during a production run of one week may be accumulated into one production lot with a maximum

11、of 10,000 tubes for the weeks production. 6. DATA AND RECORDS a 6.1 Data for records purposes shall be maintained in accordance with JEDEC Publication No. 67 on at least twenty tubes taken at random from each lot. The acceptance data shall be recorded in accordance with the Instructions described he

12、rein. The data shall be identified with each lot. 7 . SAMPLING PROCEDUmS 7.1 Sampling of each lot shall be performed after all manufac- turing operations are completed. Samples shall be randomly drawn from the lot so as to represent, as accurately as possible, the inherent x-radiation characteristic

13、 of the lot. Sampling shall be conducted on a regular defined basis which is adequate to meet the requirements given below. Normal inspection shall be used initially. 18、st per JEDEC Publication No. 67. 8.2.2 Regulators Heater Voltage - Heater voltage shall be maintained at the rated value (EIA Release) or above, Plate Voltage - Elate voltage shall be at or near the Absolute Maximum rated value (EIA Release). DC Plate Current - DC plate current shall be at or near t

Reading Periods: Tubes shallbe read initially and at end of life test per JEDEC Publication No. 67. 9. LIMITS- Maximum initial and life test limits shall be determined by

20、 the manufacturer sufficiently below the published ma.ximum value a (EIA Release) to insure adequate product control. 10. ACCEPTANCE OF PRODUCT - Product which meets the initial individual. lot acceptance criteria and life test requirements shall be accep- ted. Individual lots whose representative s

21、amples do not meet the initial and/or life test requirements shall be rejected. Normal and tightened inspection for initial individual lot accep- tance shall be performed in accordance with MIL-STD-lO5D. 11. PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION Individual tubes shall be coded to identify the production period (not to exceed one week).
