18、Introduction Theadhesionbetweenbinderandchippingsisthebasisofsuccessfulsurfacedressing.ltisimportantthatthis bondcanbeobtained,initially,atthemomentofconstructionandbeensuredincoolconditionswhenthe adhesivityproblemsbecomedominantbinderwithdampordryanddustychippings.Aknowledgeofadhesivity enablesthe
19、choiceofabinderandaggregatetypeforminimumrisk,especiallyforearlyandlateseasonwork. 1Scope ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthemeasurementofthebinderaggregateadhesivity,andtheinfluenceof adhesionagentsorinterfacialdopesanadhesioncharacteristicsasanaidtodesignbinderaggregatesystemsfor surfacedressing.ltis
