39、 4Requirements 4.1 Moisturepenetrationindex Insulatingglassunitsshallfulfiltheirfunctionsduringaneconomicallyreasonableworkinglife.Thereforethe followingvaluesareverifiedontestspecimenssubmittedtotheclimatetestdescribedinthisPartofthestandard: Theaveragemoisturepenetrationindex I av overthefivetests

Althoughbreakageoftheglassdoesnotconstitutefailure,theaveragemoisturepenetrationindex I av shallbethe averageovernotlessthan,andnomorethan,fiveunits.Spareunitsshallbeusedinsteadofthebrokentest specimens.
