29、chisgluedtoabrassweightingring(seeFigure1).Abrasscarrierringwithaprecisionrubber ringbondedtoit(seeFigure2)shallbescrewedtotheundersideoftheweightingring.Thetotalmassofthe outflowmetershallbe(3 500 10) g.Themassofthecarrierringshallbe(138 3) g.Therubberringis vulcanisedontothecarrierring.Theproperty
30、ofthevulcanisedrubberringshallbeasfollows: hardness481,ShoreA,inaccordancewithISO868. Thecarrierringshallcarrythemarkofthemanufacturertogetherwithaserialnumberandtheexpirydate(month, year)(seeFigure2). Acarryingboxwithholdingdevicesshallbeusedforthetransportandstorageoftheapparatuswithoutdamage. The
31、holdingdevicesshallsecurethat: thecylinderoftheapparatusisnotincontactwiththeinnersurfaceofthetopofthecarryingbox; thebrassweightingringislaidonaholdingdevice,sothatthecylinderiswithoutloading; theadhesivejointbetweencylinderandbrassweightingringdoesnottouchanyholdingdevice; therubberringdoesnottouc
32、hanyholdingdevice; theoutflowmeterisstoredinaverticalposition.EN130363:2002(E) 6 6.1.2 Maintenanceandstorageoftheoutflowmeter Thecarrierringwiththerubberringoftheoutflowmetershallbereplacedwhentheexpirydateispast.Duringthe servicelife,thecarrierringshallbecarefullyprotectedfromdirt,oilandgrease.Duri
33、nglongerintervalsbetween testprogrammes,theoutflowmetershallbeprotectedagainstlightandairbystoringitinitscarryingboxata temperatureof(205)C. 6.1.3 Preparingtheoutflowmeterfortesting Beforeeachtesttherubberringonthecarrierringshallbecheckedforanyincisions,cracks,surfacedamageor warpageandthatitisclea

40、hallbedependantuponvariabilityofthesurface.Asampleplanshallbe preparedtodetailwheretestsshouldbecarriedoutandlocationswheretestshavebeencarriedoutshallbe recorded. Atleast10valuesshallbeobtainedapproximately2,5maparttoobtaintheoutflowmetervalueforalengthof 25m. Forthesamplinganddocumentationthefollo
41、wingdefinitionsandprocedurecanbeused: Thetestsectionisthehomogeneousareatobetested.Thetestpointisthetestedsurfaceofanarea,measuredat onetime. Thetestpanelisasubareaofatestsection,whichisselectedformeasurements.Thelengthofatestpanelis usually25m.Thewidthofatestpaneldependsonthetestobject. Onroadstest
