18、ord This document (EN 13094:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 296 “Tanks for transport of dangerous goods”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorse
19、ment, at the latest by November 2015 and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2015. This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the European Free Trade Association. This European Standard has been submitted for reference into the RID and/or in the technical a
21、nnexes of the ADR. Compared with EN 13094:2008, the following changes are the principal modifications which have been made: a) a new form of protection was added to 6.9.2.2; b) subclause 6.10 was revised; c) for the protection of service equipment mounted on top of the tank, the addition of an alter
22、native steel and, where longitudinal and transverse members are used, additional requirements for drainage were added; d) references were updated, in particular related to welding and NDT standards; e) literal mistakes were corrected. 25、um working pressure not exceeding 50 kPa gauge used for the transport of dangerous goods by road and rail for which Tank Code with letter “G” is given in Chapter 3.2 of ADR 2. It also includes requirements for a system of identification of materials used in the construction of these tanks. This Euro
26、pean Standard specifies requirements for openings, closures and structural equipment. NOTE 1 This document does not specify requirements for service equipment. This European Standard is applicable to aircraft refuellers that are used on public roads. It is also applicable to inter-modal tanks (e.g.
27、tank containers and tank swap bodies) for the transport of dangerous goods by road and rail.
