This Europea

The products specified in this European Standard are those which are especially suitable for electricalpurposes, i.e. with specified electrical properties. Drawn round wire for general purposes is specified inEN 12166. This is one of a se

21、ries of European Standards for copper products for electrical purposes. 25、 property requirements including electrical properties, anddimensional tolerances for drawn round copper wire from 0,04 mm up to and including 5,0 mm for themanufacture of electrical conductors intended for the production of bare and insulated cables and flexiblecords. This standard covers plain or

26、tinned, single or multiline, annealed or hard drawn wire. It does not include wirefor enamelling (winding wire, magnet wire), for electronic application and for contact wire for electric traction. The sampling procedures, the test methods for verification of conformity to the requirements of this st

27、andardand the delivery conditions are also specified. NOTE Due to the thermal and/or mechanical treatment involved in cablemaking processes, the properties ofconductors in the final cable or cord differ from those of the original wire supplied. Requirements for conductors takenfrom cable or cord are

35、number (see Table 1 and Table 2). 4.1.2 Symbol The material symbol designation is based on the designation system given in ISO 1190-1. NOTE Although material symbol designations used in this standard might be the same as those in otherstandards using the designation system given in ISO 1190-1, the d

36、etailed composition requirements are not necessarilythe same. 4.1.3 Number The material number designation is in accordance with the system given in EN 1412. 4.2 Material condition For the purposes of this standard, the following designations, which are in accordance with the system givenin EN 1173,

37、 apply for the material condition: R. Material condition designated by the minimum value of tensile strength requirement for the product withmandatory tensile strength requirements; A. Material condition designated by the minimum value of elongation requirement for the product withmandatory elongati

BS EN 13602:2013EN 13602:2013 (E) 7 Exact conversion between the material conditions designated R. and A. is not possible.Material condition is designated by only one of the above designations. 4.3 Product The product designation provides a standardised pattern of designation from w

39、hich a rapid and unequivocaldescription of a product can be conveyed in communication. It provides mutual comprehension at theinternational level with regard to products which meet the requirements of the relevant European Standard. The product designation is no substitute for the full content of th

40、e standard.The product designation for products to this standard shall consist of: a) denomination (wire); b) number of this European Standard (EN 13602); c) material designation, either symbol or number (see Table 1 and Table 2); d) material condition designation (see Table 3 and Table 4); e) surfa

41、ce condition: plain (P) or tinned (grade A, B or C, see Table 7); f) nominal dimensions: 1) single wire (S): diameter; 2) multiline wire (M): number of wires and diameter; g) form of delivery: coil (Y) or spool (Z).
