28、General TheapparatusshallfulfilallrequirementsofEN250:2000withtheexceptionof5.3and5.4ofEN250:2000. 4.2 Materialsanddesign 4.2.1 Oxygencompatibility Thematerialsandthedesignofhighpressuresubassembliesexcludingthepressurevessel(s)shallbe100% oxygenadiabaticcompressionresistant. Testingshallbedoneinacc
29、ordancewith5.2. 4.2.2 Oxygencleanliness Allsubassembliesshallbecleanedforoxygenuseandidentifiedassuch. Testingshallbedoneinaccordancewith5.2. 4.3Pressure vessel(s) Thepressurevessel(s)shallcomplywithappropriatenationalorEuropeanregulationsandshallbeapprovedand testedwithrespecttotheratedworkingpress
30、ureandtheuseofpureoxygen. Thepressurevessel(s)shallbemarkedwiththeappropriateneckthreaddesignationaccordingtoEN1441. Thethreadsforconnectingthepressurevessel(s)andthevalve(s)shallbeM18x1,5orM25x2asspecifiedin EN1441. Testingshallbedoneinaccordancewith6.2ofEN250:2000. 4.4 Pressurevesselvalve(s) Press
31、urevesselvalve(s)shallcomplywithappropriatenationalorEuropeanRegulationsandshallbeapproved andtestedforuseattheratedworkingpressureandpureoxygen. Thethreadsforconnectingthepressurevessel(s)andthevalve(s)shallbeM18x1,5orM25x2asspecifiedin EN1441. Safeconnectionbetweenthepressurevesselvalve(s)andthede
32、mandregulatorshallbeensuredbyusingthe connectionsasdefinedinEN1443.EN13949:2003(E) 6 Thevalve(s)shallbemarkedwiththeneckthreadandtheoutletthreaddesignationaccordingtoEN1441andEN 1443. Thevalve(s)shallbesodesignedorsolocatedthatitcannotbeclosedinadvertently.Thisismete.g.byatleast2 turnsfromfullyopent
33、ofullyclosedposition. Thefunctionofthepressurevesselvalve(s)shallnotbeimpairedbytheingressofwater. Thepressurevesselvalve(s)shallbeprotectedagainsttheentrainmentofdirt,solidparticlesandwaterfrominside thepressurevessel(s)forexamplebymeansofaprotectivetubewithalengthofatleast30mmandaninside diametero
34、fatleast2,5mm.Ifprovided,anadditionalsinteredmetalfiltershallhaveasurfaceareaofatleast900 mm 2 andbereliablyconnectedtotheprotectivetube. Testingshallbedoneinaccordancewith6.2ofEN250:2000,6.11ofEN250:2000and5.2. Thepressuredropmeasuredacrossthecompletepressurevesselvalve(s)assemblywithapressurevesse
35、l pressureof50barshallnotexceed10bar. Testingshallbedoneinaccordancewith6.7ofEN250:2000. 4.5 Highpressuregaugehose Thedesignofthehighpressurehoseinletshallmitigatethecompressiveheatignitionhazardtothehosematerial. Thehosematerialshallbeoxygencompatible. 5Testing 5.1General Unlessotherwisespecified,t
36、estingshallbecarriedoutwithcompressedairinaccordancewithEN250. 5.2 Oxygenpressuresurgetest Thistestshallbecarriedoutforallsubassembliesexposedtothehighpressuregas.Thetestshallbecarriedout withpureoxygen. Thepurposeofthetestistocheckwhetherthesedeviceswithstandanoxygenpressuresurgesafely. Thesamplede
37、vicesinthe“asreceived“condition,orlubricated,ifalubricantisusedforsuchadevice,shallbe tested. Beforethetest,theignitiontestinstallationshallbecheckedfortherequiredpressurerise(forexamplesofthetest installationandpressurecyclespecification,seefigures1and2).Forthispurposethesampledevice,attheendof the
38、1mlengthofcoppertube,isreplacedbyareliablepressuregauge. Themaximumpressureatthedeadendofthecoppertube(measuredbypressuregaugeandrecordedonan oscilloscope)shallbeachievedwithin(20 5)ms(timenecessarytoreachp vt startingfromatmosphericpressure). Thetestpressure(p vt )shallbe1,20timesoftheratedworkingp
39、ressure Stabilizationtimeatp vt isnotfixedbutshallbegreaterthanorequal3s.Beforethenextpressuresurgethesystem (sampledeviceandcoppertube)shallbedepressuriseddowntoatmosphericpressure.Stabilizationtimeat atmosphericpressureisnotfixedbutshallbegreaterthanorequal3s. Thetotaltimeofthepressurecycleshallbe

Forcalibrationpurposes,heatedoxygenat(60 3)Cshallbeused.EN13949:2003(E) 7 Thequalityofoxygenshallbe: minimumpurity99,5%byvolume; hydrocarboncontent10*10 6 ppm. Eachtestshallbecarriedoutasfollows: supplyo
41、xygenatatemperatureof(60 3)C,directlyintotheconnectionofthedevicetobetested,by meansofacoppertubehavinganinternaldiameterof5mmandalengthof1m.Thespecifiedmaterialand dimensionsofthetubeareessentialinordertoensurethatawelldefinedenergyinputintothedevicetobe testedisachieved; twotestsequencesshallbecar
42、riedoutonthepressurevesselvalve(s).Oneintheclosedpositionaandone intheopenposition.Thetestshallbemadeinsuchawaytosimulatepressurevesselfillingandthepressure vesselconnectionofshallbesealedwithasuitablemetallicclosure; onlyonetestshallbecarriedoutontheothersubassemblies.Thedirectionofthegasflowshallb
43、ethesame asinnormaluse; asinnormaluse; oxygenisheatedupto(60 3)C,intheoxygenpreheater.Inletofoxygen,tothesampledeviceis controlledbyaquickopeningvalve(seefigure1).Thetestconsistsofsubjectingthepressurevesselvalvesto 50pressurecyclesandtheothersubassembliesto20cycles,fromatmosphericpressuretothedevicetest pressure(p vt )(seefigure2); Afterthetests,thesampledeviceshallbedismantledandcarefullychecked,includingcloseexaminationofnon metalliccomponents.Itshallnotshowanytracesofignition. 6Marking TheapparatussubassembliesshallbemarkedinaccordancewithEN250.
