This test method relates exclusively to products or to their components where appropriate, and not to waterproofing membrane systems composed o

This test is intended to be used in conjunction with a European Standard on definition and characteristics for plastic and rubber sheets for roof waterproofing. 1 Scope This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the visible defects
19、in plastic and rubber sheets for roof waterproofing, which could influence the functional behaviour of these sheets. 2 Normative references This European Standard incorporates, by dated or undated references, provisions from other publications. 24、 bubble refers to a more or less spherical void. 3.7 inclusion extraneous body enclosed within the mass. 4 Principle A pari of a selected roll of plastic or rubber sheet is unrolled on a Rat surface and examined for defects on both surfaces and at a cut surface. 5 Sampling and conditioning 5.1 Sampl
25、ing The plastic or rubber sheet to be tested shall be complete and undamaged rolls selected in accordance with EN 13416. 5.2 Conditioning of samples Generally ageing or conditioning is not required to be carried out and examination shall be made under ambient conditions. In case of dispute, the test
26、 shall be conducted at (23 f 2) OC after conditioning for at least 20 h at (23 f 2) OC. 6 Procedure The selected roll shall be laid on a flat surface. The first 10 m of the roll of material under examination is carefully unrolled, top surface uppermost, and examined over the whole surface with the n
27、aked eye for the presence of blisters, cracks, holes, scratches, indentations, or any other noticeable defect. The roll is then carefully turned over and examined on the underside for the same visible defects. Cut the roll near the end across the full width and examine the cut surface for the presen
28、ce of voids or inclusions. 7 Testreport The test report shall contain at least the following information: a) a reference to this European Standard (EN i 850-2) and any deviation from it; b) all details necessary to identify the product tested; c) any non-standard procedures or any peculiarities enco
