、5.1 Tolerances on dimensions and form 5.1.1 General The requirements for tolerances on dimensions and form for slugs manufactured in a flat or preformed shape are specified in 5.1.2 to 5.1.6. The tolerances specified in Tables 1 to 5 shall apply for slugs after punching or cutting in the bright cond
、ition. The tolerances on dimensions for slugs with a roughened surface shall be agreed between supplier and purchaser, as an increase of the outside diameters is to be expected. This increase in dimensions has to be taken into account by the supplier in his manufacturing process. The increase in dim

EN 570:2007 (E) 7 Limits in the manufacture of punched slugs: a) In the case of round slugs, the thickness should not exceed the diameter. b) In the case of rectangular slugs, the thickness should not exceed the w
、idth. c) In the case of slugs with a centre hole, the slug thickness should not exceed the hole diameter. If these limits are exceeded, slugs should be manufactured by cutting. 5.1.2 Slug diameter The tolerances specified in Table 1 for punched round slugs shall apply. For sawn round slugs the toler
、ances on diameter as specified in EN 755-3 shall apply. If tighter tolerances are needed, this shall be specified in the order. In this case tolerances as specified in EN 754-3 shall apply. 43、 For sawn round slugs with a hole, produced from round tubes with or without extrusion seams the tolerances as specified in EN 755-8 or EN 755-7 shall apply.
