EN 14755:2005 (E) 9 Annex A (normative) Test methods of bending strength, internal bond and dimensional variations A.1 Bending strength A.1.1 Principle The bending strength perpendicular to the fabrication of each test piece is calculated by determining the ratio of

39、the bending moment M, at the maximum load Fmax, to the moment of its full cross-section. A.1.2 Sampling and dimensions of test pieces From each test panel, 5 test pieces perpendicular to the fabrication line are taken. The internal bond of the board is determined by the maximum load in relation to the surface area of the test piece. EN 14755:2005 (E) 10 A.2.2 Sampling and d

A.3.2 Sampling Take 3 test pieces of 100 mm x 100 mm perpendicular to the production line. One in the centre and two from the edges. A.3.3 Apparatus See

46、 EN 317. A.3.4 Procedure Measure the test pieces dimensions in the fabrication direction to an accuracy of 0,1 mm. Immerse the test pieces with their faces vertically and in the fabrication direction in clean still water having a pH (7 1) and a temperature of (20 1) C. The upper edges of the test pi

After immersion, take the test pieces out the water, remove excess water and measure the test pieces dimensions in the fabrication direction. A.3.5 Expression of results A.3.5.1 For each test piece The dimensional variations of each te

48、st piece Vtexpressed as a percentage of original dimension shall be calculated according to the following equation: 100)- (001t=lllV (A.1) where l1is the dimension after immersion in millimetres, l0is the dimension before immersion in millimetres. EN 14755:2005 (E) 12 A.3.5.2 For board The dimension

49、al variations of board is the arithmetic mean of the results of all test pieces taken from the board and shall be expressed in percent, to one decimal. EN 14755:2005 (E) 13 Annex B (informative) Supplementary properties According to the customer request, the following properties can be determined: thickness of the extruded board (EN 324-1); squareness of the extruded board (EN 324-2); Dimensional variations in swelling.
