9、6. It supersedes BS EN 50464-1:2007+A1: 2012 and BS EN 50541-1:2011 which are withdrawn. BSI, as a member of CENELEC, is obliged to publish EN 50588-1:2015+A1:2016 as a British Standard. However, attention is drawn to the fact that during the development of this European Standard the UK committee vo

10、ted against its approval as a European standard. The UK committee submitted a negative vote for the following reasons: a) This standard is not applicable to transformers for tram systems, which have the same, or similar, operating characteristics to railways. The UK committee is of the opinion that

11、the relevant exclusion in clause 1 should read transformers and auto-transformers specifically designed for railway and other traction feeding systems. b) The UK committee advises that the de-energised tapping range for single-phase liquid immersed transformers with Sr 100 kVA should be 7,5 % as thi

12、s is the limit for pad-mounted transformers in the United Kingdom. The start and finish of text introduced or altered by amendment is indicated in the text by tags. Tags indicating changes to CEN text carry the number of the CEN amendment. For example, text altered by CEN amendment A1 is indicated b
