8、4b59 840 = BS EN 6037133 : 1995 National foreword This British Standard has been prepared by Technid Committee GW15 and is the English language version of EN 60371-3-3 : 1995 Sp in this case, the binder shall have the necessary resistance to the operating temperature. The products may be supplied in

9、 sheets, strips or flat pieces. The minimum nominal thickness is 0.30 mm (mica Splittings) and 0.20 mm (mica paper). 2. General requirements The material as supplied shall be of uniform hardness, free from soft patches and foreign matter. The grade and visual characteristics of the Splittings, as we

10、ll as the nature of the mica paper and the bonding medium, shall be agreed between supplier and purchaser. 3. Detection of defects and conducting particles in sheets Until a method of detection of defects has been agreed for IEC Publication 371-2: Specification for Insulating Materials based on Mica

11、, Part 2: Methods of Test, the accepted type and number of defects is subject to agreement between supplier and purchaser. 12、3 : 1995 4 4. Thickness: measurements and tolerances Nominal thickness* The thickness shall be measured using the test specimen and procedure defined in IEC Publi- cation 371-2. The thickness (central value), in millimetres, shall not depart from the nominal thickness by more than the tolerances giv

13、en in Tables I and II. These tables also give the permitted differences between individual measurements on the same specimen. Availability Rigid mica material for heating equipment is generally available : - in sheets approximately 1 m long and 0.5 m to 1 m wide; - in strips not more than 200 mm wide cut from sheets; - as flat pieces cut to the dimensions specified in the purchase order. 8. Marking Packa

20、ges shall be marked with the following information: a) the IEC publication reference and the type of product, for example 371-3-3 Type HS3; b) manufacturers name or trade mark; c) nominal thickness and dimensions; d) number of pieces and/or weight in each package.
