19、IBRE OPTIC CONNECTORS Part 1-1: Blank detail specification 1 Scope This blank detail specification is not, by itself, a specification. It is part of the generic specification IEC 61274-1, Fibre optic interconnecting devices and passive components- Adaptors for fibre optic connectors-Part 1; Generic
20、specification. It includes: a blank worksheet with instructions for preparing detail specifications. 2 Qualification approval 2.1 Procedure The detail specification shall state the qualification approval procedure to be used either the fixed sample or the lot-by-lot and periodic procedure may be use
21、d. 2.2 Test schedule and performance requirements The mandatory test schedules for qualification by the fixed sample procedure are defined in Table 1 of the detail specification worksheet (see Clause 4). The fixed sample procedure consists in subjecting a sample of specimens to the fixed sample qual
22、ification test sequence as specified in Table 1. The sample shall be drawn from current production. 3 Quality conformance inspection 3.1 Lot-by-lot and periodic procedure The lot-by-lot and periodic procedure consists in performing the lot-by-lot inspections on a specified number of inspection lots
23、(a minimum of three) taken in as short a time as possible. The periodic tests are then performed on samples selected from at least one of the lots. Samples shall be selected from the lots in accordance with IEC 60410. Normal inspection shall be used, but when the sample size is so small that accepta
24、nce based on zero defects is implied, additional specimens shall be taken to meet the sample size requirements for acceptance on one defect. 3.2 Lot-by-lot inspection The mandatory test schedules for lot-by-lot inspection (groups A and B) are defined in Table 2 of the detail specification worksheet
25、(see Clause 4). 3.3 Periodic inspection The mandatory test schedules for periodic inspection (groups C and D) are defined in Table 3 of the detail specification worksheet (see Clause 4). 26、 aid in the preparation of detail specifications. Spaces are provided for entering information. When the spaces are completed, the detail specification can be drafted in its final form. The spaces are identified by numbers between brackets. Instructions for completing these numbered spaces are given
27、 below. When drafting the final detail specification, eliminate the bracketed instruction numbers. 1 The National IEC number assigned to the detail specification is added by the National Committee. 2 The date of the detail specification is added by the National Committee. 3 Enter the name and addres
28、s of the National Committee. 4 Enter the applicable classification categories (see 4.2 of IEC 61274-1) (QC 860000). 5 Enter the applicable adaptor type. 6 Enter the applicable mechanical interface standard. If the connector set does not meet a mechanical interface standard, add the words “not applic
29、able“. 7 Enter the performance standard. If the connector set does not meet a performance standard, add the words “not applicable“. 8 Enter the applicable assessment level. 9 Add the qualification procedure required for the detail specification (fixed-sample procedure or lot-by-lot procedure). 10 Sp
30、ecify the component control dimensions in the format shown (see 4.3.3 of IEC 61274-1). Include: component control dimensions. When a standardised type of connector interface is referenced, these dimensions shall fall within the mating face dimensions of the appropriate standard; control dimensions f
31、or all variants; panel cut-out and mounting dimensions where applicable; the measurement method(s) to be used when the requirements of 4.3.5.1 of IEC 61274-1 apply. Add figures showing the dimensions for standard reference components and gauges if they are required (see 4.3.5.2 and 4.3.5.3 of IEC 61
32、274-1). Display the drawings in the format shown. 11 Tabulate the identification number for each variant of each component (see 4.8.1 of IEC 61274-1). Assign a column in the table for each variant feature. For example: alternative mounting schemes, etc. 12 Enter supplementary information with respec
33、t to marking, requirements for certified records of released lots and other appropriate information (see 4.8.2 and 4.8.3 of IEC 61274-1). 13 Table 1 defines the required measurements and tests for qualification by fixed sample size for the selected environmental category. If qualification by lot-by-
34、lot and periodic procedure is specified, eliminate the table and renumber subsequent tables in the detail specification accordingly. Specify the sample size for each group in column “n“. 14 Table 2 defines the minimum required measurements and tests for groups A and B. Detail specification writers m
35、ust add those tests or measurements to be carried out to the table. Add the assessment level designation along with the inspection level and acceptable quality level (AQL) in the appropriate place in the table (see 4.2.6 of IEC 61274-1). 46、al requirements of the detail specification there shall be no failures in the sample groups for any test parameter. If a failure does occur this shall be investigated and the cause of failure identified and corrected. The test which is affected shall then be repeated using the minimum sample size st
47、ated in this detail specification. A fully documented test report and supporting data shall be prepared and made available for inspection. Failures and the corrective action taken to eliminate failures shall be documented and evidence presented to show that the corrective action will have no detrime
48、ntal effect on the performance in any of the other tests. Design changes, as opposed to improvements in quality control, will necessitate a repeat of the full qualification programme. Only group 1 tests shall be carried out using a reference connector. All other tests shall be carried out using the
