17、997 FIBRE OPTIC CONNECTOR INTERFACES - Part 2: Type BFOC/2,5 connector family 1 Scope This part of IEC 1754 defines the standard interface dimensions for type BFOC/2,5 family of connectors. 2 Description The parent connector for type BFOC/2,5 connector family is a single position plug connector whic
18、h is characterized by a 2,5 mm nominal ferrule diameter. It includes a bayonet coupling nut and a ferrule spring loaded in the direction of the optical axis. The plug has a single male key which may be used to orient and limit the relative rotation between the connector and the component to which it
19、 is mated. 3 Interfaces This standard contains the following standard interfaces: Interface 2-1: Plug connector interface - Bayonet coupling Interface 2-2: Adaptor interface - Bayonet coupling The following interfaces are intermateable: Interface 2-1 mates with interface 2-2.
