It is identical with IS0 10066 : 1991. The UK participation in its preparation was entrust

This period of conditioning can form the latter pari of the period following manufacture prior to test (see 8.1). 9 Procedure 9.1 Measure the

For tests at tempera- tures other than standard (see 8.2), condition the test piece at the test temperature for a period of at least 1 h following the measurement of the original thickness 4. 9.2 Place the test piece in the apparatus an

7、d apply the appropriate compression stress rapidly and smoothly to the test piece in such a manner as to avoid impact. The magnitude of the applied com- pression stress shall be as agreed between the purchaser and supplier. The stress chosen shall produce a creep strain of (2,5 f 0,125) YO. NOTE 2 T

8、he stress applied will usually be between 0.5 kPa and 10 kPa. 9.3 Measure the thickness (d,) of the test piece af- ter 15 min f 1 min, at the test temperature, with- out removing the compression stress and repeat the measurement (d2) after 72 h f 0,25 h, at the test temperature, again without removi

9、ng the corn- pression stress. At the end of the test, remove the compression stress and remeasure the thickness (dR) after the test piece has been allowed to recover for 30 min 2 min at the standard conditions (see 8.2). 10 Expression of results 10.1 The average of the test results from the two test

10、 pieces shall be used in the calculation of the result. 10.2 Calculate the percentage creep strain C from the equation 4 - d2 di C= where d, d2 is the thickness, in millimetres. under com- pression stress after 15 min; is the thickness, in millimetres, under com- pression stress after 72 h. 10.3 Cal
