21、tem 3 Principalcharacteristicsofknottednetting 3.1M anufacture Knottednettingmaybemanufacturedinthetwoyarnsystem(seeFigure1)orinthesingleyarn system(seeFigure2). Therearetwotypesofmachinemadenetting,eitherwithallknotsformedinthesamedirectionofthe sheetnetting,called“twistedmesh”(seeFigure3)orwiththe

22、knotsalternatelyintheopposite directioncalled“untwistedmesh”(seeFigure4). Alltypesofknottednettingcanbemadewithasingleyarnorwithmultipleyarns. 3.2Twoyarnsystem Knottednettingconsistingoftwosystemsofyarnsismostlymanufacturedonaknottingmachine.The yarnofoneofthesystemsrunslikeaweavingwarpfrombobbins,w

32、le,ofstaplefibres;oneormorefilaments;texturedorbulkedyarnorfilm. 5 Informationtobeexchanged 5.1Indicationofuse Inordertoassistthenettingmanufacturertoofferthemostsuitabletypeofnettingforaparticulartypeoffishing net,theultimateuseofthenettingshallbemadeknown,forexample,forgillnets,trawlnets,pursesein

33、enetsetc. 5.2Manufacture Thepurchasershallstatewhichtypeofnetting(see3.1)isrequired. 5.3Typeofknot Ifthepurchaserhasapreferenceforaparticulartypeofknot(see3.2),heshallstatethisinhisenquiryororder. 5.4Directionofstretch Thepurchasershallstatethedirectionofstretchrequired(see3.3)andwhetherornotthenett

34、ingistobestabilized afterstretching. 5.5Sizeofnetting Thepurchasershallspecifytherelevantdetailsinaccordancewith3.6,notingthatforsizeofmesh(see3.6.3)itis necessarytochoosebetweenlengthofmesh(tobepreferred),lengthofmeshsideoropeningofmesh,for example“lengthofmesh50mm”.ENISO1530:2003(E) 12 5.6Nettingy
