45、alnumberandcheckdigit,is mandatoryforfreight containers andrecommendedforallequipment as statedin 3.1.2.Thecharacteristics (size, shape,layout,etc.)detailedin 6.1 and 6.2.1 shallbedisplayedasnearly as practicableinaccordancewithclause 6,i.e.legible to thehumaneye.4 Size and type codes and theirassoc
