The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committ

22、ees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. Metallurgical imperfections are notincluded. Another system for thedesignation of imperfections is possible, according toISO/TS 178

46、45. Annex B gives the correspondence between theexisting classification ofimperfections according toISO 6520-1 and the designationsystem according toISO/TS 17845.
