40、cimensshallbetestedwiththerootintensionandthefaceintension.Ifthepipediameteristoosmallforremovingtherequirednumberoftestspecimens,additionaltestpiecesshallbewelded.7.2MarkingEachtestpieceshallbemarkedtoidentifyitsexactlocationinthemanufacturedproductorinthejointsfromwhichithasbeenremoved.Whenremoved

41、fromthetestpiece,eachtestspecimenshallbemarked.7.3Extraction7.3.1 GeneralTheextractionmethodshallavoidtheintroductionofdetrimentalthermalormechanicaleffects.Ingeneralaportion25mmfrombothendsofthetestweldsshallbediscarded,unlessinformationabouttheendsoftheweldsisrequired(e.g.start/stopimperfections).
