The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO tec

23、hnical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closel

24、y with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least75% o

25、f the member bodies casting a vote. International Standard ISO13565-1 was prepared jointly by Technical Committees ISO/TC57, Metrology and properties of surfaces, Sub-committee SC1, Geometrical parameters Instruments and procedures for measurement of surface roughness and waviness, ISO/TC3, Limits a

26、nd fits, and ISO/TC10, Technical drawings, product definition and related documentation, Subcommittee SC5, Dimensioning and tolerancing. ISO13565 consists of the following parts, under the general title Geometrical product specifications (GPS) Surface texture: Profile method; Surfaces having stratif

29、 and is to be regarded as a General GPS standard (see ISO/TR14638). It influences chain links2 and3 of the chain of standards for roughness profile. For more detailed information of the relation of this standard to other standards and the GPS matrix model, seeAnnex A. The roughness profile generated

30、 using the filter defined in ISO11562 suffers some undesirable distortions, when the measured surface consists of relatively deep valleys beneath a more finely finished plateau with minimal waviness. This type of surface is very common, for example in cylinder liners for internal combustion engines.

31、 This part of ISO13565 provides a method of greatly reducing these distortions, thus enabling the parameters defined in ISO13565-2 and ISO13565-3 to be used for evaluating the above mentioned type of surface, with minimal influence from these distortions. 1 Scope This part of ISO13565 describes a fi

32、ltering method for use with surfaces that have deep valleys below a more finely finished plateau with a relatively small amount of waviness. The reference line resulting from filtering according to ISO11562 for such surfaces is undesirably influenced by the presence of the valleys. The filtering app

33、roach described in this standard suppresses the valley influence on the reference line such that a more satisfactory reference line is generated. 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this part of ISO13565. 37、erence guide To measure profiles in accordance with this part of ISO13565, a measuring system which incorporates an external reference is recommended. In case of arbitration the use of such a system is obligatory. 5 Traversing direction The traversing direction shall be perpendicular to the directio

The first mean line is determined by a preliminary filtering

39、 of the primary profile with the phase correct filter in accordance with ISO11562 using a cut-off wavelengthc in accordance with clause7 and corresponding measuring conditions in accordance with Table 1 of ISO3274:1996. All valley portions which lie below this mean line shownhatched in Figure 1a) ar

40、e removed. In these places the primary profile is replaced by the curve of the mean line. The same filter is used again on this profile with the valleys suppressed. The second mean line thus obtained see Figure 1b) is the reference line relative to which the assessment of profile parameters is perfo

This reference line is tranferred to the original primary profile seeFigure 1c) and the roughness profile according to this part of ISO13565 is obtained from the difference between the primary profile and the reference line see Figure 1d).BSENISO 13565-1:1998 2 BSI 04-1999 7 Selection of the c
