49、PERLAN/2) is confined to the two lowest layers of the open systems interconnection (OSI) model, the physical and the data link control layer. TR 101 683 20 contains an overall description of the HIPERLAN/2 system. The physical layer is described in TS 101 475 4. The interworking with higher layers is handled by convergence layers on top of the data link control layer.
