SCOPE This specification lists brass alloys that are suitable for the fabrication of parts requiring the particular properties of brass, such as corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity or electrical conductivity; but which do no
3、t require the properties of a specific type. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released to obtain part print stability by allowing latitude in alloy selection for manufacturing, consistent with engineering drawing requirements. It is recognized that a given part may be produced by any one of sev
4、eral methods and that a single brass is not suitable for all methods. The brass alloys listed, are considered as optional for the part to which this specification is applied. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the
