APPLICATION The material was released originally as the refrigerant fluid for automotive air conditioning units.

REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 BOILING POINT, At 760 mm Hg -29.7 +/- 0.5 C 3.2.1 High Boiling Impurities, by Volume, max 0.01%

4、3.2.2 Boiling Range +/- 0.5 C Test Method: Chill the container of refrigerant and Goetz centrifuge tube to -35 +/- 2 C. Decant 100 +/- 5 mL of liquid refrigerant into the tube. Add 2 - 3 crystals of 20 mesh carborundum. Immerse a certified standard thermometer into the liquid refrigerant. Immerse th

5、e tip of the Goetz tube in a bath at 23 +/- 2 C. Observe and record the temperature every 5 mL of evaporation until 15 mL remain in the Goetz tube. Correct recorded temperatures for atmospheric pressure and report boiling point. Report the variation in boiling point at each 5 mL level as the boiling

6、 range. Transfer the tube with the remaining 15 mL of refrigerant to a bath at 0 +/- 1 C. Allow the refrigerant to boil for 30 +/- 2 min. Remove the tube from the bath and observe and record the volume of residue remaining. This residue is the high boiling impurities. 3.3 CHLORIDE ION CONTENT No tur

7、bidity or white precipitate Test Method: Add 50 mL of absolute methyl alcohol and 3 - 4 drops of a saturated AgNO3- alcohol solution to a 50 mL Nessler tube, or similar container. Add 5 mL of liquid refrigerant and allow the solution to stand for a few minutes. Any precipitate or turbidity shall con
