SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an ethylene propylene rubber having excellent non-mineral hydraulic fluid aging characteristics for use at high and low temperatu
3、res. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used in seals and o-rings in the brake master cylinder. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Producti
4、on Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION The chemical composition of the rubber material must be 100% copolymer and/or terpolymer of ethylene propylene. Slab stock must accompany parts for analysis. The slab stock must be of the same compound batch and cured at equivalent cure cycles

GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification a
11、nd assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 SERVICE TEMPERATURE The service temperature range for this material is -54 to 150 C. Maximum temperature of 175 C could be tolerated for short period of time. 5.2 BRAKE FLUID DESCRIPTION Brake fluid as referred to in this specification shall be virgin, fresh ESA-M6C25-A brake fluid. Suppliers can obtain fresh fluid in pint or quart containers at all Ford and Lincoln-Mercury dealerships.
