SCOPE This specification defines an impact modified, heat stabilized, 66 nylon reinforced with glass fibers. 2. APPLICATION This specification was initially released for mater

3、ial used for disc brake splash shields. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 MOLDING COMPOUND REQUIREMENTS 3.1.1 Melting Point, C 250

4、- 263 (ASTM D 789) 3.1.2 Fiberglass Content 13 +/- 2% Test Method: Place approximately 4-7 grams of material in a previously ignited and weighed porcelain crucible and weigh. Place in a muffle furnace and heat to 1000 +/- 25 F to constant weight. Cool in a desiccator, weigh, and calculate the percen

Decant and add while stirring one drop of nitric acid to the filtrate foll

10、tional physical properties of molded or extruded parts, when required, shall be specified on the engineering drawings and/or engineering specification. 6. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. Annealing test specimens: Heat for 30 minutes in oil at 28 C below the melting point of the material. Allow to cool in air away from drafts.
