SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a heat formable, slab, polyester type urethane foam. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as an anti-slip bac
3、king for molded carpeted throw-in mats, to prevent slipping. The foam should always be used as a bonded composite. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS
4、-M99P1111-A). 3.2 TENSILE STRENGTH, min 20 psi (ASTM D 1564) (138 kPa) 3.3 ELONGATION, min 280% (ASTM D 1564) 3.4 TEAR STRENGTH, Trapezoid, min 1.5 lb (6.7 N) (ASTM D 5733) 3.5 DENSITY, min 1.5 lb/ft3(ASTM D 1564, sample size 12 x 12 in (24 kg/m3) (300 x 300 mm) x thickness) 3.6 DETERIORATION (FLTM
5、BO 12-1) No crumbling, or evidence of deterioration after autoclave aging. Test Method: A specimen 2 x 8 in (50 x 200 mm) x thickness shall be subjected to steam autoclave aging for 3 h at 2.8 +/- 1.5 psi (19.3 +/- 10.3 kPa) and/or 104 +/- 5 C, then dried 3 h at 104 +/- 3 C in a convection oven foll
6、owed by 2 h conditioning at room temperature. 3.7 MILDEW RESISTANCE No evidence of mildew growth or deterioration after 7 days exposure in a humidity cabinet controlled to 100% relative humidity at 38 C. 3.8 ODOR No offensive odor before, during, or after the deterioration tests of para. 3.6 and 3.7

9、um value. 3.12 FLAMMABILITY TEST PROGRAM Materials, portions of components, and composites governed by this specification must also comply with the requirements of ES-D3AB-11014-AA. 3.13 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS The fabricated mat assemblies employing the ESB-M2D260-B foam must also meet the requirements of the applicable mat performance specification.
