2、Inc. FIBERBOARD (MOLDED), RESINATED - PAINTED ESB-M3E16-C 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an ESB-M2E16 molded fiberboard with a painted surface coating. 2. APPLICATION This specification for material was released originally to control the characteristics of the 1985 Sierra hea

3、dliner. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.

4、2 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample, or shall be as specified on the engineering drawing. 3.3 PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the material shall meet all requirements of the particula

5、r ESB-M2E16 specification suffix level being utilized. The applicable ESB-M2E16 base material shall be identified on the engineering drawing. 3.4 RESISTANCE TO WEAR (FLTM BN 108-02, 100 cycles 250 g load, CS #10 wheels) The materials wear pattern and color shall be compatible in appearance with the

6、adjacent unabraded area. 3.5 SCUFFING (FLTM BN 108-04, 500 cycles 0.9 kg load, “A“ head) There shall be no area where paint is completely scraped away to expose the substrate board. 7、CE TO FADE, min 5 (FLTM BN 1-1, 120 SFH, AATCC Chromatic Transference Scale) 3.7 RESISTANCE TO HEAT AGING, min 5 (7 days at 82 +/- 2 C, AATCC Chromatic Transference Scale) In addition, there shall be no cracking or delamination of the coating and it shall exhibit no evidence of spewing or tackiness.

8、 3.8 PAINT ADHESION (FLTM BI 106-01, Part “B“ except do not scribe lines) The tape shall not lift or delaminate the paint or surface coating. 3.9 FLAMMABILITY In order to comply with Worldwide Vehicle Safety Standards (e.g., FMVSS No. 302), the materials, portions of components, and composites shall

9、 not burn, or transmit a flame across its surface, at a rate of more than 100 mm/min. To demonstrate compliance, the sample size and method of testing shall be in accordance with FLTM BN 124-2. 3.10 PERFORMANCE - ENVIRONMENTAL AGING All materials, portions of components, and composites defined by th

10、is specification that have not been treated, modified or reformulated and exceed a max burn rate of 76 mm/min as specified by the Flammability Lot Sampling Plan of FLTM BN 124-2, must be evaluated for permanency of the materials flame retardant properties per ESB-M25P3-A according to the accelerated

11、 environmental aging requirements applicable to the basic material category of this particular specification. Any material, portions of components, and composites defined by this specification that have been treated, modified or reformulated to conform to Flammability Lot Sampling Plan of FLTM BN 12

12、4-2, regardless of max burn rate, must be evaluated for both permanency of materials flame retardant properties and changes in mechanical, chemical and physical properties per ESB-M25P3-A applicable to the basic materials category of this particular specification. 3.11 FLAMMABILITY TEST PROGRAM Materials, portions of components, and composites governed by this specification must also comply with the requirements of ES-D3AB-11014-AA.
