SCOPE:The material defined by this specification is a filled asphaltic masticwith a polyethylene film on one side, and a pressure sensitive adhesiveon the other side, protected by a release paper which is removed prior toinstallation of the mastic part.2. APPLICATION:

3、This specification was released originally for material used as adeadener on 1976 Granada/ Monarch cowl side panels, dash panels, packagetrays and package tray strainers. It must be applied after paint ovensand limited to components not normally subjected to repeated impacts suchas doors, hoods, and

REQUIREMENTS:Based on the mastic without the release paper.3.1 CONDITIONINGAll test values indicated herein are based on material conditionedin a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relativehumidity for 24 h prior to testing and tested under the samecontrolled conditions

16、ng to the accelerated environmentalaging requirements applicable to the basic materialcategory of this particular specification.Any material, portions of components, and compositesdefined by this specification that have been treated,modified preformulated to conform to Flammability LotSampling Plan

17、of FLTM BN 24-2, regardless of max burn rate,must be evaluated for both permanency of materials flameretardant properties and changes in mechanical, chemicaland physical properties per ESB-M25P3-A applicable to thebasic materials category of this particular specification.3.15.3 Flammability Test Pro

18、gramMaterials, portions of components, and composites governedby this specification must also comply with therequirements of ES-D3AB-11014-AA.3.16 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITYMaterial supplied to this specification must be equivalent to thatoriginally approved. Changes in formulation or processing shall
