2、- CORROSION INHIBITING ESB-M6J93-A NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a corrosion inhibiting wash primer. This material is composed of a blend of chromate pigments and suitable resins and solvents to provide the required adhesion and corrosion resist
3、ance properties. This material is mixed thoroughly with ESB-M14J206-A Acid Catalyst Solvent before use. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for primers used in low visibility areas to provide good adhesion for black-out enamel topcoats on zinc substrates and other metal surface
4、s where a phosphate coating cannot be applied. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF PRIMER 3.1.1 Non-Volatile,

Removal of paint beyond 1/8 in (3 mm) from any scribe mark, blistering or peeling shall be cause for rejection. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for cla
18、rification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. When mixed with the Acid Catalyst Solvent, ESB-M14J206-A, the catalyzed mixture has a pot life of approximately 8 h, hence, care should be taken to mix only that amount of material which will be used in an 8 h period. For satisfactory performance of this primer, it is essential that it be thinned only with Acid Catalyst Solvent, ESB-M14J206-A, supplied by the same vendor and that the mixing instructions be followed explicitly.
